Computer Graphics
Documents submitted which are not in camera-ready format are created in-house in Adobe PageMaker 7.0 or Adobe In-Design.

Printing Services maintains a filing system for each campus/department's computer generated artwork created in-house at Printing Services. If your document is computer generated at your campus/department and request we store it at Printing Services for future printings, if changes are made at your department, please resubmit your electronic document with a revised date so we may remove any obsolte forms from our system.

Original documents created at your campus or department are returned after your project has been printed along with your printing order. If your document is created at your campus or department, please submit a clean copy of your document each time a printing request is submitted, especially if your document is submitted electronically.

Computer-generated documents created at your campus or department can be submitted for printing in one of three ways:

1. A clean black and white original of your document. If there are screens or grey tones on your original, it is best to send your document electronically ** for better reproduction.

2. You can also send your document in PDF format.

3. You can submit your document on a diskette, CD or through e-mail. Please call to confirm the compatibility of software and fonts. A computer-generated file going from one computer system to another, at times, will generate missing text or moved objects. For this reason we request you furnish a hard copy of your document along with your work order.

You can e-mail your document to Rachel Martinez (in GroupWise).

** Compatible software programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Freehand, Microsoft Word XP and Microsoft Publisher. Call for software compatibility.

DON'T FORGET!

When submitting documents electronically, also send a hard copy along with the work order. If a document is sent electronically, a work order must be submitted to proceed with your printing project.
